Independent Study (TK to 8th)

Due to overwhelming response, the Guerneville School District (Charter Authorizer) is excited to announce the opening of a new charter school: California Pacific Charter - Sonoma (CalPac) beginning July 1, 2019.  CalPac Sonoma will offer a K-12 online model and a K-8 independent study model.  The independent study model will offer instructional funds for all enrolled students in grades K-8 in the greater Sonoma County area. The instructional funds will support students and families with flexible choices to promote personalized learning options and enrichment activities.

CalPac has been in operation for over ten years, offering a virtual school model serving counties from San Diego to Mendicino. Our school provides a flexible learning environment and modern educational technology to assist learners with diverse backgrounds and goals who seek an education alternative that stimulates and supports independent learning. We strive to provide the optimum learning environment by collaboratively developing a personalized learning program for every student.
