CALPAC Tutoring & Office hours

CALPAC is a free online charter school that promotes the success of current and future students from CA. The thing that stands out in our program in comparison to many other virtual programs is our attention and dedication from our teachers. CALPAC is known to have a group of highly qualified and fully CA credentialed teachers that go above and beyond in helping students achieve success in their courses.
At CALPAC, not only we provide free tuition for all students, but we also provide excellent resources that are interactive and “live”. We provide live office hours and tutoring hours that cater to all of our students- Regular and Credit Recovery students. Teachers have allocated set hours daily to help students that need clarification in their lessons.
Whether it is by phone, through virtual sessions using blackboard elluminate, email, or chat, students are able to ask questions and seek for help in specific coursework as long as they ask for it! Teachers welcome students with questions and encourage students to visit their appropriate content teacher to receive help so they are on the right path to success.
Students are responsible in contacting the teachers as well and seek for help or resources to supplement their learning. When students come to tutoring sessions, they are able to come with specific or even general questions.
Our school is proud to have a program in place where our students know exactly who they can contact when they need help in their coursework. Our students will hear from the homeroom, content, or even the counselor to seek for help when the struggle is present. Whether it is for Math, English, Social Studies, or even PE, we are here to serve the students and make sure their questions are answered.
There are tutoring services for a fee but not in our school. Our students at CALPAC deserve the best and we intend to give what our students need. The time, resources, energy, and dedication that we provide in our online school is commendable. We are proud to have a free online program in place where our students are best served.
When students start utilizing these resources available to them they will see a tremendous amount of difference in their study habit and method. They will receive not just regular help in coursework but skills to help them to do better in assessments, general assignments, and projects. All they have to do is seek and ask!
Teachers at CALPAC always motivate and encourage students to do their best and show their best in whatever they do. We hold them to the highest standards and we intend to guide and help through the process.
