Getting to know... Ms. Demian

Ms. Demian has only been with CalPac for a few years but has already made an enormous impact on our students and faculty. She spent several years living and traveling all over the world - from Uganda to London to Colorado and more! - but we couldn't be more happy she has landed in her home state of California and is part of our phenomenal team.

- Subject(s) currently teaching: Career Planning, Digital Citizenship and Health
- Where are you from? Manhattan Beach, CA
- How long have you been at CalPac? This is my 2nd year.
- Why teaching? I'm passionate about making learning fun and interesting for my students. I want to help them become lifelong learners and find their passions.
- What's your favorite thing about online education: The conversations with my homeroom kids who I've gotten to know really well each week and my live class sessions when my students become really engaged in the lesson.
- When not teaching/working, what's your favorite way to spend time (hobbies, activities, etc.)? I have 3 kids 5 and under. Wego to the zoo, parks and Chuckie Cheese way too much. I love listening to them play and being inspired by their freedom to do whatever they wish.
