Live Sessions Help Students Connect with Each Other

(Provided by CalPac, Wednesday, April 22, 2015)

One of the best ways to connect with your online classmates is through live sessions!  Live sessions are a great tool for helping you with your virtual high school courses, and they are also an awesome way to interact with your peers and teacher.

Each teacher holds weekly live sessions that relate to the current week’s topic.  This is very beneficial to helping you engage with the material you are learning.  Plus, you get to chat with your teacher and classmates!

You can make create online friends by attending live sessions together each week.

Many of our students have similar courses, so they start to see familiar faces in their live sessions.  Many students exchange information and make friends with the other students they have in similar courses.

Having a virtual study buddy is always great!

If you are unsure of when your live sessions are, contact your CalPac homeroom teacher.  Your teacher will be happy to send you a live session calendar with all of your courses, times they meet, and links to enter the virtual classroom.

Also, you can find this information in collaboration corner, in the syllabus sent at the beginning of the semester, and in your teacher’s email signature.

Make sure you get to all of your live sessions each week!  See you in the virtual classroom!
