Announcing to all online students of California Pacific Charter Schools: a “Science is Active” website packed with all of your science resource needs!http://scienceevans.blogspot.com/ Check it out!
The science resource site is a free online tool to assist you on your science courses while attending online middle and high school at CalPac. This site provides highlights on science breakthroughs of each year, like discoveries found in young blood and the advancements gained. Highlighted breakthroughs from 2013 show bacteria and virus interactions that can eventually save people’s lives.
I hope to highlight one of our student’s contributions to the scientific world in the future.
I was fortunate enough to participate in an internship for teachers through the Department of Water and Power in Los Angeles to discover that they offer jobs to high school students starting in the summer. You can test water samples, collect samples, tend to reservoirs and carry out scientific investigations that impact our communities. Check out the post on the Science website for more information.
Fun, interactive links to assist you in your science course are also available on the right side menus of this science website.
